Meet The Team

Right after the pandemic, we had a bifurcated experience, with a sharp reduction in demand in Chicago’s downtown market and many areas on the North Side. While the South Side and suburbs actually saw increases in demand and outperformed some the core areas. Many people purchased homes. Chicago’s housing market right now is the hottest that we’ve seen in over 15 years. This can be partly, attributed to the premium placed on inside space and private green space. Couple that with the governments speedy and sustained injection of capital, pent up demand from millennials, the largest generation in history moving through their home buying years. The fundamentals support growth in the Chicagoland real estate marketplace. The Multifamily Investment Advisors disagree with those that indicate that we’re on the precipice of a housing bubble. The primary drivers for the real estate price momentum in 2021 are demographically shaped in a supply constrained environment.

The Chicagoland real estate market historically has been one where the multifamily and housing markets compliment each other. In the past as when we’ve seen higher housing values in Chicago, we’ve seen increases in multifamily values also.

Keller Williams is the largest real estate firm in North America with over $407 Billion dollars in closed sales in 2020, more than any other firm.
